World Day for Circles of Compassion-2 November 2005
UPDATE - OPEN LETTER to Circle Members

Creating compassionate societies and a world that works for all.
http://www.woman.ch/women/3-workshop.asp

“Compassion is a mental attitude based on the wish for others to be free of their suffering and is associated with a sense of commitment, responsibility and respect towards others.” - HH Dalai Lama

In 2003, WWSF* launched the concept of Circles of Compassion and the World Day http://www.woman.ch/women/3-introduction.asp in partnership with the Millionth Circle. The response was immediate, and in the first year close to 100 Circles were spontaneously launched around the world, mostly in Third World countries. WWSF regularly gives Circle training workshops in Geneva (and other places in Europe). To register for the training in French (5-6 November 2005) or in English (10-11 December 2005), please use the Internet link http://www.woman.ch/women/3-introduction.asp or E-mail: wwsf@wwsf.ch directly.
